Help & policy
Responsible play
Staked battles are a game of skill with something at stake. OHKO gives you tools to stay in control, and enforces them on the server: the app cannot be talked out of them. All of them are on Your limits once your wallet is signed in. The full policy is on the Responsible Play page.
18+ only
Staking is for adults. Before your first staked match, OHKO asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older (once per wallet). Free battles have no age gate.
Daily stake limits
You can set a daily limit per currency (SOL, USDC and $OHKO): the most you want to commit to staked matches and tournament entries in one UTC day.
- Lowering a limit, or setting one for the first time, applies immediately.
- Raising or removing a limit only takes effect 24 hours later. Until then the lower limit stays in force, and a stake that only the pending raise would allow is refused with a clear explanation.
- Every paired staked match counts towards your limit, even if it later ends in a draw, is cancelled or refunded. It counts the moment you commit to it, which errs on the safe side.
- Tournament entries count too.
Self-exclusion
You can exclude yourself from staking for:
- 24 hours
- 7 days
- 30 days
- Permanent
- An exclusion starts immediately. It can be extended but never shortened or lifted early.
- It blocks staked queues, challenge links, staked rematches and tournament entries.
- A permanent exclusion also blocks free battles.
- Replays, refunds and claiming money that is owed to you always keep working.
Human check
Staked queues are protected from bots. Before your first staked match of each UTC day you complete a quick human check (Cloudflare Turnstile). OHKO also measures how fast decisions are made: a pattern no human can produce (instant or perfectly regular timing over many decisions) raises a flag for the moderators and requires a fresh check before the next staked match.
Fair play
- The public queue never pairs the same two wallets more than three times in 24 hours.
- Patterns that look like collusion, such as repeated instant forfeits or one wallet losing staked matches to the same opponent again and again, are flagged for review. Flags never punish anyone automatically; a moderator looks at them.
- Moderators can mute a player, freeze their queue access or ban them. Every admin action is written to an audit log.
Getting help
If gaming stops being fun, take a break and talk to someone. Independent help is available from organisations such as GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-GAMBLER in the US).
